Congratulations! You've received an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) from the Federal Government. Now what? Getting the Biggest Bang for your Buck The EECBG funding is to be used to increase energy efficiency, reduce energy costs and spur economic growth. The DOE specifies that, "entities should prioritize energy efficiency and conservation first. Then, they should maximize benefits by seeking ways to link these projects with long-term priorities such as economic development, community stabilization, etc." The money saved from energy efficiency can then be leveraged to provide your other departments with additional funding and/or provide the opportunity to start new projects and programs that will help stimulate the economy in your City. PE Consulting has decades of experience managing energy programs to maximize energy efficiency and renewable energy, then leveraging those savings to reap additional benefits. Are You Prepared to Meet the Reporting Requirements? Your block grant comes with serious tracking and reporting requirements:
Keeping track of all these requirements and making reporting deadlines can be a challenging technical and administrative task. Are you willing to risk your funding by going it alone or using inexperienced sales reps or a non-profit? Outsourcing Creates Jobs Part of the stimulus requirements are to create jobs (for tax paying companies). For years, PE Consulting has provided unbiased energy engineering, rebate and financial assistance to local governments. Now you can outsource part or all of your block grant administration and reporting to our qualified team of professionals. PE Consulting will help your City prepare and submit the following required documents to the Federal Government on time.
